Dispatching Summary Report

 

This report provides a summary listing of services for a given date range and branch.    It is a shortened version of the Dispatching Services Report detailing the basics of the service including job start and end time, crew and equipment requirements, origin and destination locations, Move Type, weight, miles, and carton count.

 

This report is identical to the Dispatching Worksheet Report except that the Worksheet report allows the user to write in crew names and equipment resources.

 

If the Crew & Equipment parameter is set to “True,” then the report will provide a separate listing of all active crew members and available equipment.  See Crew by Branch report or Equipment by Branch report for more information on what displays for either.

Service Date From

 Enter the date of service to begin selecting records on.

Service Date To

Enter the date of service to end selecting records on.

Branch ID

Enter *(all branches) to include all branches, or select branches from the drop-down list.

Crew & Equipment

Select True to have the report include detailed information on crew and equipment availability.  See Crew by Branch report or Equipment by Branch report for more information on what is displayed for either.

The following table describes the fields that display on this report.

 

Field

Description

Branch

Displays the Branch ID and Name of the branch set for the service.

See Add Local Service and Branch Setup for more information.

Service Date

Displays the date scheduled to perform the request.

See Add Local Service for more information.

Service Type

The type of service being dispatched.

See Add Local Service for more information.

Job Start (Job S)

Displays the scheduled job starting time as set through the Set Service Time screen.

Job End (Job E)

Displays the scheduled job ending time as set through the Set Service Time screen.

Required Crew

Displays the number of estimated crew needed to perform the service followed by a list of crew members currently assigned to the service (see Assign and Remove Crew).

Shipper

Displays the formatted shipper name combined from the Last Name/Company Name and First Name fields from the Name, Address, Phone tab.

Origin Address (O)

Displays the Moving From address, city, and state set on the Name, Address, Phone tab for the order that the service is under.

If the service is associated to an extra stop then the address set for the origin extra stop will display.  Extra stops are associated to a service through the Add Address function within Add Local Service.

Order Number

Displays the MoversSuite order number that the service is listed under.

Destination Address (D)

 

Displays the primary Moving To address, city, and state set on the Name, Address, Phone tab for the order that the service is under.

If the service is associated to an extra stop then the address set for the destination extra stop will display.  Extra stops are associated to a service through the Add Address function within Add Local Service.

Move Type (MT)

Displays the move type assigned to the order through Type of Move in Move Information.

Ctns/Wt/Mls

For services associated to a weighted value, the report will display weight (Wt) and miles (Mls).  The referenced weight value is from the service itself (see Add Local Service) and the miles value is from the Miles field in Move Information.

For services associated to a carton value, the report will display cartons (Ctns) and weight (Wt).  The referenced carton value is the total of all estimated containers, packing, and unpacking items set for the service through the Update Containers, Packing and Unpacking and the weight value is from the Weight field from within Move Information.

Note:

The setting that determines whether a weighted value or a carton value used is the Units option within Service Type Setup.

Coordinator (C)

Displays the name of the person assigned as the Transportation Coordinator set within Name, Address, Phone for the order.

Required Equipment

Displays the count of equipment resources currently reserved for the service followed by the equipment listing (see Assign and Remove Equipment).

Service Notes

Displays the memo created prior to the service being sent to Local Dispatch
