MSO&ISales Process Flow

 

Though each opportunity is different, the basic process from beginning to end for a move opportunity within MSO&ISales is as follows:

 

1.    Create a new move

2.    Create Survey Sheet(s)

3.    Perform Job Walk

4.    Review Job Summary

5.    Review Crew Calculations

6.    Review Cost Summary

7.    Create Quote

8.    Send Quote to Customer

9.    When Quote is accepted or denied, book the order or update status in Move Details.

 

STEP 1: Create a new move opportunity

Setup Area: Moves tab

 

Click the + icon to start a new opportunity. See MSO&ISales Add New Move Opportunity for step-by-step instructions and details.

 

STEP 2: Create Survey Sheets

Setup Area: Moves tab > Survey Sheets

 

Create the Survey Sheet(s) which will be needed to complete the Job Walk. See MSO&ISales Survey Sheets for step-by-step instructions and details.

 

STEP 3: Complete Job Walk

Setup Area: Moves tab > Job Walk

 

Choose from general lists created or Custom Inventories to complete the Job Walk. See MSO&ISales Job Walk, MSO&ISales Master Data, MSO&ISales Custom Inventories for details.

 

STEP 4:  Review Job Summary

Setup Area: Moves tab > Job Summary

 

Review the Job Summary. See MSO&ISales Job Summary for details.

 

STEP 5: Review Crew Calculations

Setup Area: Moves tab > Crew Calculations

 

Review the Crew Calculations. Make any adjustments as needed. See MSO&ISales Crew Calculations for details.

 

STEP 6: Review Cost Summary

Setup Area: Moves tab > Cost Summary

 

Review the Cost Summary. Make any adjustments as needed. It may be necessary to return to Job Walk to add more labor or other tabs to update data. See MSO&ISales Cost Summary for details.

 

STEP 7: Create Quote

Setup Area: Moves tab > Quotes

 

Click + to start a quote. Edit the Name from the default, if desired, and click the blue checkmark to save. Click the Print Icon and choose what format to save the quote. PDF is recommended so that edits can be made. Click the blue checkmark to proceed. See MSO&ISales Quotes for details.

 

STEP 8: Send Quote to Customer

Setup Area: Moves tab > Quotes

 

Send the quote to the customer.

 

STEP 9: Book the order or update status

Setup Area: Moves tab > Moves Details

 

When the quote is accepted or declines, go to the Moves Details of the opportunity. Select the Quote from the dropdown and click the blue checkmark to save.

 

Then, click on:

    Thumbs Up – to book the move. When clicked the information is sent to MoversSuite for those with the MSO&ISales Integration and information appears within the Office & Industrial module.

    Thumbs Down – the indicate the quote was declined.

    Trashcan – deletes the opportunity.

 

Once either Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down are clicked, the opportunity is locked down in MSO&ISales and edits cannot be made.
