Electronic and Online Payments

There are two ways in which your customers can make a payment: Electronic Payments and Online Payments.

Online Payments is the preferred method as it the more secure form of payment. Online Payments allows you to send a hyperlink to a customer from which they can pay an invoice through a secure online site. Recurring Billing and Storage can also be setup for Online Payments.

Electronic Payments are those in which the customer provides you with a credit card or bank account number to pay an invoice.  Electronic Payments offers the options to process a payment for an order and/or customer on the order, process a stand-alone payment with no order or customer, process a credit card authorization, and/or store the given information for payment at a future time. Recurring Billing and Storage is the only monthly payment allowed to use this in an auto-pay method.

Both Electronic Payments and Online Payments allow you and your customers the ability to process payments using credit cards and bank accounts through payment processing providers for which EWS Group has an integration. Currently, we offer two merchant service providers: Remedy Payments and Constellation Payments (CSI Pay), also referred to as PYXiS within the documentation.
