Use the Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports window to edit or create IDs for alternate or modified forms and reports that you can assign to users in the User Security Setup window. To open this window, click the Administration series button and click Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports on the Setup content pane.

Alternate forms and reports are forms and reports added from installed integrated products. Modified forms and reports are existing Microsoft Dynamics GP forms and reports modified using Report Writer or Modifier. Each ID created in this window grants access to a group of alternate/modified forms and reports for the assigned user. Only one ID can be assigned to each user in the User Security Setup window.

 

NOTE: This is where the access to the Movers Custom Programs windows and reports are set.

 

The Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports List displays a tree view of any alternate or modified forms and reports for the product(s) selected. The tree view is organized by series. Original forms or reports are selected by default. Use the Copy button to copy settings from an existing ID to a new one that you are creating, then make any necessary modifications.  Use the View menu to expand or collapse the list tree items. To enable users to access the alternate version of a form or report, select the alternate form or report, and then click Save.
