Credit cards are used for a variety of processes which include:
•For when the customer gives you credit card information to process a payment now:
Use Credit Card/Bank Payment. See Electronic Payments (Pay Now) for instructions on the entire process.
•For when the customer gives you credit card information to process a payment later:
Use Capture Credit Card Information. See Electronic Payments (Pay Later) for instructions on the entire process.
•When you wish to send the customer a secure web link via email for the customer to enter their own credit card information:

•Tie a given credit card to a specific Recurring Billing record to process the payment automatically or send the customer an email with hyperlink to the online payment site. Read more about this functionality within the Electronic and Online Payments topic.
