The Edit functions are available whenever you are in a field on a screen anywhere within Vans. They are used to Undo changes, Copy, Paste or perform Spelling/Grammar checks (notes that Microsoft Word must be installed on the machine that Vans is being run from for Spelling/Grammar to work). These functions are also available via buttons on the Vans Toolbar at the top of the Vans window. Options available are:

Performs a Spelling and Grammar check on the current field. The field must be a Text type field for this to function, as well as Microsoft Word must be installed on the machine that Ascente is being run from.
