This topic contains guidance on how to enter an order within MSWeb. Orders can be created from a lead or entered directly (not first entering information as a lead); therefore, instructions are organized into “How to enter an order that was first entered as a lead” and “How to enter an order that wasn’t from a lead.” To do either, follow these directions to get to the appropriate Online Help topic:
From a lead: This is the process where an order is created from a lead and there are two types of instructions:
•MSWeb Order Best Practice includes the thorough, best practice instructions.
•MSWeb Order Quick Start is for when an order just needs to “get into the system.” These are the instructions for those situations.
Not From a lead: For those orders being entered directly into MSWeb without having first been entered as a lead, see MSWeb Order without Lead. These instructions utilize the “Quick Start” approach.
