MSWeb Online Help Tips

Use the Online Help to find information on MSWeb functionality and specific locations within MSWeb using the Topic and Search functions.

Topics tab:

 

All topics within the Online Help for MSWeb start with “msweb” to narrow the topics to just that product. Likewise, the MSCrew topics all start with “mscrew”, BI Tool topics all start with “bi tool”, etc.

 

To find the list of all topics covered within the Online Help for MSWeb, under the Topics tab, enter:  msweb. Topics filters exactly by what is entered. Be careful to enter “msweb” and not “ms web.” The search is not case-sensitive. Notice there are 88 topics returned and all start with MSWeb. Just click any topic in the list for that information, such as “MSWeb Documents” in the image below.

Search tab:

 

Click the Search tab and then enter msweb and the Online Help. Using the Search tab includes all topics and content for all references to MSWeb within the entire Online Help. The results will be more extensive. Notice there are 64 results returned. Some results are from other topics, such as Date and Timestamps.

Contents tab:

 

The Contents tab is organized like a Table of Contents with folders, subfolders, etc. The information on MSWeb is found with Common Services > MSWeb, as shown in Figure 3. Click on MSWeb to open the folder and view all the topics related to MSWeb. Note that some subfolders have additional folders within them, such as MSWeb Homepage.
