Book a MoversSuite Order

To book an order in MoversSuite, simply press the Book Order button available through the Information Bar. This prompts you to select a branch using the Select a Branch dialog and then, once a branch is selected, opens the Book Order Information dialog.

Depending on administrative settings, when you book an order, MoversSuite can be setup to automatically generate the Order Number for you, which is based on Branch and Type of Move settings.

Additionally, when an order is booked, MoversSuite sets the status of the order to “Booked.”

If you need to change an Order Number or Branch for an order, you can press Book Order on an already booked order. This opens the same Book Order Information dialog (unless the order is a foreign or OA order) allowing you to change the attributes. Of note, the application prevents you from changing the Order Number or Branch on an order that contains generated revenue transactions. See Change a MoversSuite Order Number or Branch topic for details.
