AtlasNet Document Download Integration

 

The integration with AtlasNet allows document download management into MoversSuite. Whether the order involves one agent or multiple agents through AtlasNet on a single order, documents now can automatically download into MoversSuite. Configure rules to automatically download documents’ content (i.e., the meta data about the document) as soon as MoversSuite knows about the document.

 

NOTE: MoversConnect is the pipeline that checks for orders and automatically initiates the download; therefore, MoversConnect is required for this integration. VendorConnect is required, as well.

 

Documents downloaded from AtlasNet which associate to orders within MoversSuite will show in the Document Management Viewer as “notifications,” essentially the documents’ “titles.” Only those documents that qualify for the rules as defined within Document (Auto-Download) Setup have their content downloaded automatically: The benefit of using rules to auto-download document’s content is that a user does not have to wait for the download of routinely used documents. For documents whose content is not automatically downloaded, when the notification is clicked, it will take a few moments for the download to occur. Once it is downloaded from Atlas (either automatically or manually), that document's content is stored locally. Rules for the Document (Auto-Download) Setup can filter orders by any combination of the following details: Shipment Type, Move Type Group, Haul As mode, Branch, and Document Type.

 

Should errors occur during the import process, errors will list in Third Party Application Error Management. If a document being downloaded doesn’t have a Document Type Setup record established, it’s download will lead to a Third Party Application Error as MoversSuite does not know how to process the document. Errors can be reprocessed. Status and errors are also logged in the MoversConnect Log. If third-party errors are discarded (as opposed to being reprocessed), those documents would not get added to document management.

 

The MoversSuite integration with AtlasNet requires setup within MoversSuite Administration.

Upload through AtlasNet is not available at this time; however, it is scheduled to be developed.

 

AtlasNet Document Download Errors

Errors that may occur for download will appear in the Third Party Application Error Management. The reasons for an AtlasNet Document Download Integration error are:

 

1. MoversSuite doesn’t know anything about the Order Number.

2. MoversSuite doesn’t know how to map the document type to Atlas to agency’s document type (see Document Type Setup and AtlasNet Document Type Setup).

3. User tried to download the document and it just didn’t work. This shouldn’t happen but if it does, it may relate to security issues.

 

Users have the option to Re-Process and Edit & Re-Process (see Re-Processing Document) from the Third Party Application Error Management screen.
