After the initial rollout of MSWeb, use this topic to reference information specific to managing settings and other data that is specific to MSWeb.
Most settings defined within MoversSuite Administration control behavior for settings within both MoversSuite and MSWeb. This topic covers the specific settings that affect MSWeb only. Refer to the following topics for additional setup information:

MSWeb Users
MSWeb users are defined within Personnel Setup. However, an additional mapping is needed by either your IT or by EWS Group (for EWS Hosted Customers). This is mapping is defined as the Microsoft Entra ID. The Entra ID aligns with Microsoft Windows Authentication to grant save and secure access to MSWeb.
The Entra ID along with the password defined for the user within their Personnel Setup will grant access to MSWeb. A typical username through this process resembles “auser@msweb.moverssuite.com.”
The Security Profile assigned to the user through their Personnel Setup record controls access to functionality within each of the MSWeb pages. Specifically, access to the “Order Information” controls access to all Coordinator persona pages based on the branch of the order.
The following table describes the security needed to access MSWeb functionality.
Page |
Access Information |
Orders |
Only orders that the user has branch access to through the Order Information module display in MSWeb Orders List screen. Further, the user logging into the application must be assigned to the order as a coordinator, e.g., Transportation Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, or OA Coordinator. The orders that list in this page are also controlled by a flag set within the Order Status Setup. This page only shows orders assigned to statuses with the “Hide orders with this status from MSWeb Orders listing?” flag not checked. |
