The section describes the processes utilizing the TechMate Integration on your system.
MoversSuite offers two options for the how to use TechMate:
TechMate Automated Process:With this process, MoversSuite uses the API system to automatically exports to and imports from TechMate. The use of the Third Party Applications Menu is not needed.
To use the TechMate Automated Process, administrative setup is required. Refer to TechMate Automated Integration Setup for details on this setup.Once the TechMate Automated Integration Setup is complete, uploads and download proceed as follow:
§ Leads are automatically uploaded to TechMate when the user clicks the Save button on the Sales Lead Information screen when creating a new lead.
§ Leads are automatically downloaded from TechMate by the Queue Service when an XML file is put in the Request Queue folder.
TechMate Manual Process: This process requires the manual management of the exports to and imports from TechMate through MoversSuite > Third Party Applications Menu. The instructions to use this process are detailed within TechMate Manual Integration Setup. To use the TechMate Manual Process, Administrative setup is required. Refer to TechMate Manual Integration Setup for details on this setup.
It is possible to have both processes setup for use.
NOTE: If your company is already setup and using the TechMate Manual Process and wishes to now use the TechMate Automated Process, just setup the automated process using the TechMate Moving from Manual to Automated Setup to start using TechMate Automated Process. Should errors prevent your automated process, the TechMate Manual Process will still be available for use.
