Preferred Revenue Agent

 

The Preferred Revenue Agent has two purposes. One is to provide a means of identifying a division through the agent assigned to an order. It can also be used to determine which employees are eligible for Auto Commissions.

 

When Divisions is in use, MoversSuite identifies the division to be set for transaction processing through the type of agent assigned to the Item Code or Revenue Group.  If the preferred agent is Booking, for example, then the application checks the Booking Agent set in the Agents tab and uses the Division value set for the agent.

You can control which people are eligible for auto commissions by establishing Preferred Revenue Agent information. Define which type of agent is considered preferred within the Auto Commission Option Setup for a specific labor area, such as Sales, then make similar assignment to Item Codes or Revenue Groups. The application only applies a commission automatically when the Item Code or Revenue Group contains a match to that defined within the Auto Commission Option Setup.
