Personnel Document Type Setup

Use this setup to establish types for Personnel Documents. View the Personnel Documents Setup topic for detailed information on applying this setup.

Field

Description

Personnel Document Group

Select a group to have this type list under within the Personnel Setup > Documents tab.

Description

Enter the name of the type (up to 64 characters). The type provides security and access privileges to documents added to the system. The values set for the type are available through Add Document, Edit Personnel Document, and Personnel Document Type Security Setup.

Is Secure

Setting this flag makes documents assigned to this type secure, which means that you can only add and view this type of document if you are assigned to the type through Personnel Document Type Security Setup.

Inactive

Check this flag to inactivate this type; the type no longer appears as an available option for Personnel Documents. Types marked as inactive remain assigned to documents and are visible within the Personnel Setup > Documents tab.
