Crew Punch Transmit Common Errors

 

This section lists the common errors you may encounter when transmitting punch activity to Crew Punch through the Export Punches to Payroll screen. The Type indicates Validation if the error occurs prior to sending information to Crew Punch and indicates Response when the error is returned from the Crew Punch system. Refer to the Export Punches to Payroll topic for usage information.

 

 

Error:

Missing a mapping between Activity 'AAA' and Interface 'BBB'.

Type:

Validation

Resolution:

Verify that the specified activity (shown as AAA in the error) is setup for the specified interface (shown as BBB in the error) within Crew Activity Setup. The activity must link to the correct External Code for the interface within the Interface Items section, such as OD for a punch out activity for the PayCom interface.

 

 

Error:

GL Account 'AAA' could not be found in Great Plains.

Type:

Validation

Resolution:

Verify that the GL account (shown as AAA in the error) is established and available within the Microsoft Dynamics GP database.

 

 

Error:

Branch 'AAA' does not have a Company GL code

Type:

Validation

Resolution:

Verify that the Company GL Code is set correctly within the Branch Setup for the specified branch (shown as AAA in the error). The branch specified is that associated to the employee through the Branch tab within their Personnel Setup.

 

 

Error:

Branch 'AAA' does not have a Branch GL code

Type:

Validation

Resolution:

Verify that the Branch GL Code is set correctly within the Branch Setup for the specified branch (shown as AAA in the error). The branch specified is that associated to the employee through the Branch tab within their Personnel Setup.

 

 

Error:

The Authority Type on order 'AAA' does not have a GL code.

Type:

Validation

Resolution:

Verify that the GL Number is set correctly within the Authority Setup for the Authority set on the order through the Move Information tab.

 

 

Error:

The Move Type Group on order 'AAA' does not have a GL code.

Type:

Validation

Resolution:

Verify that the GL Number is set correctly within the Move Type Group Setup for the group associated to the Type of Move set within the Move Information tab for the specified order (shown as AAA in the error). The Type of Move links to a group Move Type Group setting through Move Type Setup.

 

 

Error:

The Commodity Type on order 'AAA' does not have a GL code.

Type:

Validation

Resolution:

Verify that the GL Number is set correctly within the Commodity Setup for the Commodity set within the Move Information tab for the specified order (shown as AAA in the error).

 

 

Error:

No Classification is specified on the Local Service Type 'AAA'.

Type:

Validation

Resolution:

Select a Classification on the specified Local Service Type (shown as AAA in the error) within Local Service Type Setup.

 

 

Error:

Local Service Classification 'AAA' must be mapped to a Position Code in Admin.

Resolution:

Add mapping(s) within Local Service Classification GL Map Setup which map the specified Local Service Classification Setup (shown as AAA in the error) to Position Code(s)

 

 

Error:

No Position Code could be found. Local Service Classification 'AAA' must be mapped to a Position Code in Admin.

Add mapping(s) within Local Service Classification GL Map Setup which map the specified Local Service Classification Setup (shown as AAA in the error) to Position Code(s)

 

 

Error:

GL Account could not be determined for the punch for employee AAA for BBB for Activity CCC.

Type:

Resolution:

Unable to determine the GL number based the provided information for the employee for the specified activity (shown as BBB in the error) on the activity date (shown as CCC in the error). Verify that Employee Number (shown as AAA in the error) is valid for the employee within their Personnel Setup record and that the appropriate GL values are correctly set for the activity. Review the Crew Punch Integration Setup topic for all details.

 

 

Error:

Unable to export punch for AAA for the BBB activity. PayCom was unable to identify the GL account (CCC) associated to the Move Type Group (DDD) on order EEE. Please verify that the GL account associated to the Move Type Group is available within PayCom for the labor category code 2.

The GL Number associated to the specified Move Type Group (shown as DDD in the error) is not recognized on the PayCom system as a category 2 GL. Verify that the GL Number set within Move Type Group Setup is established as a labor category of cat2 value within the PayCom system. Refer to the cat2 setting within Crew Punch Integration Export Content.

 

 

Error:

Unable to export punch for AAA for the BBB activity. PayCom was unable to identify the GL account (CCC) associated to the Commodity Type (DDD) on order EEE. Please verify that the GL account associated to the Commodity Type is available within PayCom for the labor category code 3.

The GL Number associated to the specified Commodity Type (shown as DDD in the error) is not recognized on the PayCom system as a category 3 value. Verify that the GL Number set within Commodity Setup is established as a labor category of cat3 value within the PayCom system. Error:

Unable to export punch for AAA for the BBB activity. PayCom was unable to identify the Position Code (CCC). Please verify that the value CCC is available within PayCom for the labor category code 4.

The code associated to the specified Position Code (shown as CCC in the error) is not recognized on the PayCom system as a category 4 value. Verify that the Position Code set within Local Service Classification GL Map Setup is established as a labor category of cat4 value within the PayCom system. Refer to the cat4 setting within Crew Punch Integration Export Content.

 

 

Error:

Unable to export punch for AAA for the BBB activity. PayCom was unable to identify the compensation type (CCC). Please verify that the value CCC is available within PayCom for the labor category code 5.

Type:

Resolution:

The code associated to the specified Compensation Type (shown as CCC in the error) is not recognized on the PayCom system as a category 5 value. Verify that a code of “02” is established as a labor category of cat5 value within the PayCom system. Refer to the cat5 setting within Crew Punch Integration Export Content.

 

 

Error:

Unable to export punch for AAA for the BBB activity. PayCom was unable to identify the first 2 digits of the Position Code (CCC). Please verify that the value CCC is available within PayCom for the labor category code 6.

The code associated to the specified Position Code (shown as CCC in the error) is not recognized on the PayCom system as a category 6 value. Verify that the first two digits of the Position Code set within Local Service Classification GL Map Setup is established as a labor category of cat6 value within the PayCom system. Refer to the cat6 setting within Crew Punch Integration Export Content.

 

 

Error:

Unable to export punch for AAA for the BBB activity. PayCom was unable to identify the account type (CCC). Please verify that the value CCC is available within PayCom for the labor category code 7.

Type:

Response

Resolution:

The code associated to the specified account type (shown as CCC in the error) is not recognized on the PayCom system as a category 7 value. Verify that a labor category of “4” is established as a labor category of cat7 value within the PayCom system. Refer to the cat7 setting within Crew Punch Integration Export Content.

 

 

Error:

Unable to export punch for AAA for the BBB activity. PayCom was unable to identify the GL account (CCC) associated to the Authority Type (DDD) on order EEE. Please verify that the GL account associated to the Authority Type is available within PayCom for the labor category code 8.

The code associated to the specified Authority Type (shown as DDD in the error) is not recognized on the PayCom system as a category 8 value. Verify that the GL Number set within Authority Setup is established as a labor category of cat8 value within the PayCom system. Error:

Unable to export punch for AAA for the BBB activity. PayCom error message: CCC

Type:

Response

Resolution:

An error returned from PayCom that is not recognized by MoversSuite. Reference the message returned (shown as CCC in the error) to determine the nature and possible resolution of the error.

 

 

Error:

Unspecified error. Note: You may have exceeded PayCom's limit of 15,000 punch exports in a 24-hour period. Please retry the punch export later.

Type:

Response

Resolution:

An error returned from PayCom that is not recognized by MoversSuite. It may indicate that a limit was reached for the number of punches exported within the specified 24-hour period (refer to the Resolution in the error below for more information).

 

 

Error:

You have exceeded PayCom's limit of 15,000 punch exports in a 24-hour period. Please retry the punch export later.

Type:

Response

Resolution:

PayCom indicates that a limit was reached for the number of punches exported within the specified 24-hour period. You cannot exceed 15,000 punches within any specific 24-hour period.

PayCom accepts a maximum of 2,000 time-punches at a time, therefore MoversSuite only exports a maximum of 2,000 at one time. If your export includes more than 2,000, then MoversSuite sends additional batches up the 15,000-punch limit. Punches included in the export but not transferred due to the 15,000-punch limit, are not exported; you must locate these punches again and send on a different day, i.e. wait 24-hours and attempt to send the same qualifying punches again.
