The Dispatch Status records the progress of services cleared through Local Dispatch. The status values defined within Local Dispatch Status Setup are available as right-click options through the Dispatch Center data grid.

This status is different from the one used to identify the state of a local service request as viewed through Local Services. |
Once a status has been set, the description will be set in the Dispatch Status column on the Dispatch Center and in Local Services data grids. The currently selected status will appear with a black dot next to the set option.

Setting the status can also trigger sending of email notifications to key personnel. The message will indicate what the new status is along with other pertinent data. The message will contain a subject of Dispatch Status Change. See Automatic Email Service for more information.
