Type Name

Provide a name for the phone type (up 50 characters). Users can assign these types to the contact information set within the following:

Name, Address, Phone

Order Details

Order Information (Revenue Entry)

Sales Lead Information

MoversSuite provides the following system types.  These types cannot be modified:

Destination Home

Destination Other

Destination Work

Moving To Home

Moving To Work

Origin Home

Origin Other

Origin Work

Of these, Origin Home, Origin Work, and Destination Work have direct Bookmarks fields for phoneh, phonew, phonewext, and dphonew. Refer to the Shipper Contact Information section within Order Information Bookmark Fields.

Forms Designer Bookmarks

All custom phone types defined within this setup are available as bookmark fields within the Forms Designer system. For example, if you have a phone type of “Cell Phone,” then this lists as a “Cell Phone” type bookmark within Insert Bookmark under the Order Information group.

Microsoft Word Bookmark Phone Types

All phone types defined here can be referenced as Bookmarks fields by placing a “pt” followed by the Type Name with no spaces. For example, if your company defines a type of “Cell Phone,” then a bookmark of “ptCellPhone” can be added to bookmark documents to pull the cell phone value from an order.

If you intend to reference the phone type for bookmarks, then the Type Name should only contain characters A through Z and 0 through 9. For example, “ptABC123” is a valid bookmark reference and “ptAB-123_###” is invalid.

Mobile App Phone Type Name

Setting this type allows the record to be available to the MoversSuiteCrew Mobile Application. Define supported types (up to 6 characters). Refer to MoversSuiteCrew Mobile Application Setup and Administration for more information.

Use this section to link the make record to an external system that may be required for exchanging data between disparate systems.
