This dialog allows you to define what functionalty is avaialble to users based on which branches they have access to. The functionality is set forth through the Security Module setting.

For each Security Module, access is either branch-specific or not. You can view the Security Modules topic to see which functionality must be defined on a per-branch basis and which is not. If branch secuirty is needed, then you must establish a Security Module for each branch you wish to access. If branch security is not in effect, then just defining one Security Module record for any branch will grant the user access to that functionality.

You can then further how much functionality is available to a user through the Access Type and Allow Manager Privileges settings. Each of these is based on what is available to the Security Module. Again, view the Security Modules topic to determine how these settings are used for the specific piece of functionality.

NOTE: MoversSuite suggests granting coordinator and dispatcher profiles the ability to view (Access Type of “Read Only”) both Local Dispatch and Long Distance Dispatch modules for all branches (locations), to ensure that communication is not disrupted across locations.

Access Type

In general, set the type to either Full to grant users ability to add, edit, and delete records and perform other related functionality within the Module for orders linked to the specified Branch.

Set the type to Read Only to limit users to viewing data within the Module for orders linked to the specified Branch.
Refer to the Setup and Administration sections available for related functionality or see Security Modules for usage.

Allow Manager Privileges

Setting this flag will grant additional privileges to users assigned to either of the following Modules:

Order Information

This flag grants users with “Full” Access Type the ability to override the Invoice Requirement field in Billing Information.

Revenue Entry

This flag grants users with “Full” Access Type the ability to override the Invoice Requirement field in Billing Information (Revenue Entry).

This flag allows users to change the Customer in Order Information (Revenue Entry), even when non-voided invoices and non-reversed items exist.

See Security Modules for descriptions of privileges granted with the manager flag.

For Driver Advances, this flag works in conjunction with the Manager Cap Amount within Advance Setup to allow a manager a set maximum amount to advance for a driver at any one time.
