Description

Address Location Type Setup

Link each location type supported by the Quotes to Go system to the Quotes to Go XML Interface Setup record.  Reference the appropriate External Codes support by Quotes to Go.

Technical Note: Maps to originResidenceTypeTC and destinationResidenceTypeTC fields in the Quotes to Go system.

The Address Location Type is set in various places throughout MoversSuite including Name, Address, Phone and Extra Stops.

Branch Setup

Verify that branch records that support Quotes to Go are defined and reference the appropriate van line; refer to the Van Line Setup topic within this listing for more information.

Additionally, branches supported by the Quotes to Go system are associated to the Quotes to Go XML Interface Setup record. Only branches linked to the Quotes to Go XML Interface are available for exchanging data.

Payment Type Setup

Link each payment type supported by the Quotes to Go system to the Quotes to Go XML Interface Setup record.  Reference the appropriate External Codes support by Quotes to Go.

Lead Type Setup

Link each lead source supported by the Quotes to Go system to the Quotes to Go XML Interface Setup record.

The following table lists the lead source supported on the UniGroup Quotes to Go system. Define the following as External Code values within the Interface Items section in Lead Type Setup.

For Quotes to Go Local Estimate Support

Define the following lead type to support UniGroup Quotes to Go Local Estimate Download.

Personnel Setup

Verify that for OA Surveyors supported by the UniGroup Quotes to Go Local Estimate Download that their user code (ownrEstimtrUserCode) on the Quotes to Go system is defined within the Employee Interface Mappings (Interface Mapping tab) and links to the correct Interface.

Quotes to Go Setup

This setup allows a user to define the web service needed to support integration with the Quotes to Go system and provides the option to enable the Quotes to Go Upload.

This is a single-record setup and data set here populates the XML System Options for the XML System Setup record defined for Quotes to Go.

Van Line Setup

Verify that the needed UniGroup van lines are defined. The Quotes to Go XML Interface Setup record links to van lines that support data exchange with the Quotes to Go system.

XML Interface Setup

Define a Vendor Name specific for the UniGroup Quotes to Go system, e.g. “UniGroup QTG”, and link the record to the appropriate UniGroup Van Line using the External Code used to identify the Van Line by Quotes to Go.

Add Branch Item records for the branches that support integration with the Quotes to Go system.  Only orders for the supported branches and Authority Type combination will be recognized by the Quotes to Go system.

XML Item Code Setup

Define records with the following XML Item Code and corresponding Material Type value to support UniGroup Quotes to Go Local Estimate Download for the support QTG XML Interface. Note: Check with UniGroup for the latest supported rateItemID/ESPackCharge codes.

XML System Setup

Define a system record for the interface defined within XML Interface Setup.  Set the Internal System and External System values to a matching value, e.g. “UniGroup QTG”.

Use the Quotes to Go Setup to define XML System Option values for this record.

Set the following XML System Data Type Map to support the Opportunity Download:
