2009 User Conference

With our first user conference receiving such great feedback from the attendees, we were eager to plan and host our second.  As we started informally reaching out to potential attendees in pre-planning it become very apparent that the interest was high, but the confidence to commit to attending was not.  Naturally, this reservation is directly related to the current economic climate and the uncertainty of what peak season will bring.  In fact, a common response is, “We will be there if the summer is good, otherwise…”

In planning this type of an event we need to provide commitments to the hosting facility in terms of rooms and catering and those commitments must be made now.  With such a high level of uncertainty and the fact that we have not yet perfected our ability to see into the future, we feel the prudent thing to do is forego a conference this year and plan for 2010.  Our hope is that you will feel otherwise and will respond with commitments to attend immediately and we can continue planning.  That would definitely be good news as we would love to see everyone again – very soon!
