Grouping allows a user to alter a data grid to display more prominently the most important data. A user can select and drag a column to the “Drag a column header here to group by that column” and the data grid will reorganize based on the group.
In the Dispatch Center, a user may want to group by Date. Selecting the Date column header and releasing it in the “Drag a column…” resets the grid based on the Date column. The application automatically assigns an ascending sort to the data, as well.
