Change Tasks on Multiple Orders

 

The quickest way to reassign tasks is to change the employee assigned to a role. By reassigning the role, all tasks that are assigned to that role are updated to reflect to the new person assigned to that role.

 

This method is especially useful if an employee is no longer employed by your company and you wish to reassign their tasks.

Before you begin…

      Make sure you the person being reassigned the task has the same role, permissions and has the same Branch access.

      Only tasks that have not been completed can be updated or changed.

 

1.

Tasks > Workflow Tab

In the Tasks module, notice the Workflow tab, View Tasks By and the default of Task User Any Day.

Task User Dropdown

Change Task User to the name of person whose tasks are to be reassigned.

Date Dropdown

Change Date to a date far in the future to capture all possible tasks that need to be reassigned, for example 6-12 months.  All tasks current to that chosen date will be listed.

Highlight

Click on the table and then Control + A to highlight all the tasks.

Edit Task

Press Edit Task.

Task User Dropdown

Change Task User to the person who will be reassigned these tasks.

Save

Press Save.
