Service Category Code

The category sent for all punch activities is a value of “core.”

Terminal Name

This is the Value associated to the ADP record for the branch of the employee who records punch activity. Specifically, the Value is set for the ADP interface through the Interface Branch Option for supported Branch Setup records.

Action Code

This is flag sent as one of the following ADP entry types that are assigned to a given set of punch records:

transfer

clockin

clockout

Badge ID

For each ADP action event (specified by the Action Code), the ADP Badge ID associated to the employee logging punch activity is specified. The ADP Badge ID is set for each person through Credentials set under the Interface Mappings within Personnel Setup.

Device Date Time

For each ADP action (specified by the Action Code), there are two datetime stamps associated to each record:

Device Date Time, which includes the date, time, and UTC offset on the specific device recording the punch activity.

Entry Date Time, which includes the date, time, and UTC offset of the specific punch.

Labor Allocation Code

Included with each punch record is the Labor Allocation Code (Department Code) from ADP is mapped in MoversSuite to the Payroll Account Code associated to the qualified XML System Setup record.

Qualified mappings are based on Branch, Authority, Move Type, etc. that is associated to the punch activity. The specific mappings are defined within the Add XML System Payroll Account Map for the ADP XML System Setup record.
