The GLSource table defines the components and corresponding locations for retrieving the correct codes used to construct a general ledger number.
Use the table below when managing GLSource records.
Important:
GLSource is a static table generally completed upon initial MoversSuite setup. Consult MoversSuite prior to making changes to this table.

This is the table identifier set and maintained internally by the application. The GLDetail Setup references the value for a division record. |
SourceName |
Enter the name of the source component of a general ledger number as one of the following supported values (up to 50 characters). Company Natural Sub Division
The SourceName must be one of the above values in order to generate the general ledger number correctly. |
SourceTable |
Enter the MoversSuite table that is the source of retrieving data for the component (up to 50 characters), e.g. “Division.” |
SourceField |
Enter the MoversSuite field from the SourceTable table that is the source of retrieving data for the component (up to 50 characters), e.g. “GLCode.” |
SourceKeyFieldName |
Enter the Source Key field referenced in a Microsoft Dynamics GP database (up to 50 characters). |
ParentKeyFieldName |
Enter the Parent Key field referenced in a Microsoft Dynamics GP database (up to 50 characters). |
NormalOrSub |
Enter a flag to indicate whether the general ledger number is considered as one of the following: “C” for Control Account “N” for Normal Account “S” for Sub-account
