Auto Commission Option Setup

The Auto Commission Option Setup defines which employees are eligible to receive a commission automatically based on their role (Labor Area) for the order and the revenue agent of the transaction (Preferred Agents matching the Preferred Revenue Agent of the Item Code or Revenue Group).  See Auto Commissions for more setup information.

Reference the data in the following table when managing these records. 

 

Field

Description

Labor Area

Displays one of five types of employees that can receive a commission which includes the following:

Coordinators

Local Crew

Long Distance Drivers

OA Surveyors

Sales

See Commissionable Employees for information on setting and identifying commissionable personnel.

Enabled

Check this flag to turn on Auto Commissions for the specific Labor Area.

Preferred Revenue Agent Item

Select the agent type values that control which labor types are auto-commissioned as determined by the comparing the Preferred Revenue Agent set for the Item Code or Revenue Group of the transaction (see Preferred Revenue Agent).

The following agent type values are available:

Booking

Destination

Hauling

Origin

 

If you specify an agent for this record, then it must match to the Preferred Revenue Agent set on the Item Code or Revenue Group in order to auto-commission.
