Admin Profile Setup

MoversSuite Administration > Personnel > Admin Profile

 

Use this setup to assign personnel access – or not allow access - to functionality within MoversSuite Administration.

 

Click on a category, such as Personnel in the image below, to open subcategories of available of security areas.

The following table describes the fields and functions within this setup:

Enter the name of the profile (up to 64 characters).  This profile name will be available in the Admin Profile menu within the User tab in Personnel Setup.

Use the mapping section to link the profile to the various functional areas, or roles, in MoversSuite Administration.  The left pane references the folder while the right pane displays the specific setup areas and related tab components of the tool; a checkmark indicates that the user will have access to the corresponding functional area.

 

Note: The folders that list in the left pane will display a clear box () when no functional areas are selected, gray () when one or more areas are selected, and black () when all areas are selected.

Subcategories:

The areas that display are dependent on which Security Modules are activated. Below are a few examples of how the defined security areas are affected by what is set:

Personnel > Admin Profile

When checked, the user can access the Admin Profile Setup. If not checked, the Admin Profile Setup would not appear on that user’s Admin.

Personnel > Personnel (Admin Profile Combobox)

When checked, the user can change the Admin Profile setting on a Personnel Setup record > User tab. If not checked, the user can only view the Admin Profile set  but not change it.

Personnel > Personnel (Default Branch Combobox)

When checked, the user can update the Default Branch on a Personnel Setup record > Branch tab. If not checked, the user can only view the Default Branch but not change it.

Personnel > Personnel (Labor Type Tab)

When checked, the user can access the Personnel Setup record > Labor Type tab settings. If not checked, the user can view the Labor Type tab but not access its functionality.

Personnel > (Security Profile Combobox)

When checked, the user can change the Security Profile setting on a Personnel Setup record > User tab. If not checked, the user can only view the Security Profile set but not change it.

Personnel > Security Profile

When checked, the user can access the Security Profile Setup. If not checked, the Security Profile Setup would not appear on that user’s Admin.
