Description

Transportation Type

Select a type as either Air or Sea depending on the anticipated mode of travel.  The type selected will impact other fields on the Shipping Information tab.  For example, selecting a mode with a type set to “Sea” will cause the application to re-label fields and to only display values in certain fields that are of type “Sea.”  The following fields are impacted by this setting (all available in Shipping Information):

Carrier

Consolidator

Origin Port

Booking Number/HAWB

Airway Bill/Seaway Bill

Vessel/Voyage and Flight Information

Description

Enter the name of the mode that will be available within the Transportation Mode field within Shipping Information (up to 128 characters).

Van Line Code

Enter the identifier for the transportation mode from a third party used when exchanging records between MoversSuite and disparate systems (up to 16 characters).

Interface Item

Use this section to link the make record to an external system that may be required for exchanging data between disparate systems.

Interface

Select a value from the list defined within XML Interface Setup. 

External Code

Enter a code supported by the Interface for exchanging data with MoversSuite (up to 32 characters).
