Holiday Setup

Use the Holiday Setup to define the days in which special pay rates may apply. The records established here are referenced by the Rate Schedule for Labor to determine which rate applies, i.e. Holiday or a day of the week.

 

The following table lists the fields available within this setup.

 

Field

Description

Name

Provide the name of the holiday (up to 9 characters).

Date

Enter the actual date of the holiday. The date is referenced by the scheduling process to determine which labor rate is applied, as defined within the Rate Schedule for Labor. If a match is made between the date of the service request and this Date, then the scheduling process refers to the “Holiday” category to determine the pay rate to apply (Double Time Rate, Overtime Rate, or Regular Rate).

 

Optionally use the calendar control to select a date.
