Add Product Information

 

Use the Add Product Information dialog to add and edit specifics of equipment on a shipment. The product data is used primarily in data exchanges with third-party applications, such as the UniGroup Special Services Upload.

Access to this dialog is through the Add and Edit buttons in the Product Details tab within Shipment Information. This data displays within the Product Details tab within Shipment Information.

 

 

Technical Field and Function Information

 

Fields available within the Product Information Screen are described in the table below.

Provide a model number for the product (up to 20 characters).

Auto Fill Description

Check this flag (default) to have the Description built based on other data set for this record.

The application creates a Description as a string containing the following labels referencing other product fields set within this dialog.

If this flag is not set, then the Description is a free-form text entry field.

Description

Enter a text description (up to 80 characters) for the detailed shipment item. Alternately, check the Auto Fill Description flag to have this field auto-populate based on other data set for this record.

Press Save to create the shipment record.
