Required Fields

 

Your company can determine which data fields in MoversSuite must be set for a particular trigger, such as when an order is created or when it is booked. When booking an order, for example, and required data is not set, MoversSuite produces an error dialog. This dialog lists each required field that has not been set, arranged by the field’s tab location in MoversSuite. Further, it highlights the missing data with a red border. The data validation occurs for required fields when processing an order within the order-entry modules, such as Order Information and Revenue Entry. Required Fields logic does not affect other modules, such as Claims, or external applications, such as a van line download (once the order has imported into MoversSuite and a user attempts to modify or process the order, however, then the order is subject to the same field requirements as those for orders created within MoversSuite).
