Email Address Field Lengths

Email address fields are throughout the MoversSuite application. Below is a listing of database tables that contain an email column. The chart also indicates field lengths for each of those locations. The “field length” indicates how many characters can be entered in that field. The extended lengths of the field allow for multiple emails addresses to be entered within the field, when allowed. Separate each email address with a comma or a semicolon.

NOTE: The key email address field of an order are those found within the OrderEmailAddress table. This table is populated with multiple email addresses for each type defined within Shipper Email Type Setup. There can only be one email address of each type per order. View the Multiple Email Addresses Grid section within the Name, Address, Phone or Contacts and Locations topics for information on setting these emails.

NOTE: The Orders.Email address is a legacy address that is referenced by some processes. Eventually, it will become obsolete, however, it currently stores the highest ranked phone number on the order (as set through the Name, Address, Phone or Contacts and Locations tab).
