Establish the values assignable to the Units field within the Local Service Type Setup using this setup. This setup allows you to establish quantities associated to the type that factor into the crew and hours needed for a Local Services request.

Description |
Provide a name for the type assignable as the Units field within Local Service Type Setup (up to 32 characters). |
Minimum Crew |
Provide a minimum crew size for the service. This is the lowest number of people assigned to the Crew within Add Local Service when a new service is added. |
Number of Hours per Crew |
Establish the number of hours that must be reached to add a new crew member. When the application calculates crew and hours needed, it increases the count of crew each time this number of hours is reached. For example, if the Number of Hours per Crew is six and calculated number of hours is 18 on the service, then the application sets the needed number of crew to three. |
Field Label |
Enter the text label for this field that displays within the Add Local Service screen when the service associated to this Unit Type is selected (up to 32 characters). For example, you can set this value to Computers if the type is for computer packing. NOTE: The space available for the field label is restricted to approximately 9 upper case letters or 13 lower case letters. Therefore, depending on the case, you can utilize up to 13 characters for the field label. |
