Capacity Bucket Setup

MoversSuite Administration > Operations > Capacity Bucket

 

Define the buckets you wish to be available within Capacity Planning using this setup. Enter a Name of the record and this will display as the Bucket within the Capacity Planning page and as options within related setup areas.

The Type determines the Bucket Type listed in Capacity Planning. Sort Order determines the order in which the record displays within the Capacity Planning page.

 

 

Technical Field Information

 

Field

Description

Name

Provide a name for the record (up to 64 characters). The name displays as the Capacity Bucket and Packing Capacity Bucket options within related setup areas. It also appears as the Bucket within the Capacity Planning page.

Type

The Type determines the which setup areas the record can be assigned to. The following options are available:

 

Equipment Count and Equipment Hourly are available to Equipment Setup and to Equipment Type Setup records.

 

Packing Count is available to Material Type Setup records.

 

Personnel Count and Personnel Hourly are available to Labor Type Setup and to Personnel Setup records.

 

The type also displays within the Capacity Planning page for each defined Bucket.

Sort Order

The Sort Order indicates how the record displays on the Capacity Planning page, with the lowest numbers appearing at the top of the display. The default Sort Order is 0. If there are duplicate Sort Order values, the application defaults the listing to ascending alphanumeric; therefore, if you only want the listing to display in alphanumeric order (A-Z), then leave the Sort Order set to 0.
